It's 2020, GET YOUR PASSPORT!
Updated: Aug 4, 2020
It’s 2020 - if you don’t have your passport then what on earth are you waiting for?
It's VERY simple and there literally are only a few steps involved. I've created a very simple and straight forward blog letting everyone out there, who doesn't have a passport, know the steps involved in applying for one
1. Walk into Walgreens, CVS, Walmart or any similar convenience store and ask the photo department to have your passport photo taken. You CAN take the photo yourself but that’s probably not the best idea because they are VERY specific so its best just pay $10 and have someone who knows the photo criteria take it for you. You also need two photos printed by the way!
2. Secondly, head here and download & print the passport application. It’s better to have the application filled out and ready to go rather than getting to the passport application office and sitting down to fill it out. It saves time!
You have to have proof of citizenship like your US birth paper, license, etc.
If you have a child (14 and under) BOTH parents must be present when you go to the office to apply for the passport . If you’re an adult applying for the first time you must apply in person.
If one of the child's parent cannot be present the one who cannot be there has to fill out a statement of consent which you can find here.
HOW MUCH DO I HAVE TO PAY?:
